Volunteers!

By |February 15th, 2017|

Become an active member of our market community and help sustain our community market!  The Peninsula Country Market is looking for volunteers (including Board members) to help run our historic outdoor Farmers’ Market held Saturdays at the Saanich Fairground.  Every Saturday morning (9 a.m. – 1 p.m.) from June through Thanksgiving our lively community market serves up a delicious blend of local farm produce, locally-raised meats, wild ocean fish, fresh baking, artisan crafts, hot coffee and market treats, accompanied by toe-tappin’ market music.  We’re looking for hands-on volunteers to help with things like pre-season prep (washing tents, chairs, etc), weekly market ambassadors to share information with market visitors on Saturday mornings, as well as serving on the Board (we need a Secretary).  For more information, email info@peninsulacountrymarket.ca or call 250-216-0521.
