We are pleased to offer eight varieties of apples that are produced on a small orchard plot at Brookleigh Farm located across from Elk Lake. The grounds are cared for naturally, following organic practices to produce fruit that is free of sprays, herbicides and pesticides. Apples are picked as they ripen on the tree and offered to local residents within days of harvesting by way of a roadside stand and farmers’ markets.  Selection is determined by local conditions and maturation cycles that generally result in one to three varieties being available at any one time. The orchard is tended to by Christy & David, enthusiastic growers of delicious local food who reside just around the corner in Central Saanich.
